Civil War Letters of a Franklin Ranger
The book is a collection of forty letters, 1862-1864, from Wilburn and Elizabeth Jane Bond Phillips, Franklin County, Georgia residents. Wilburn was the son of Wiley and Nancy Gober Phillips and Jane was the daughter of Eason and Mary Rousey Bond. Wilburn served in the Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Company C, 9th Battalion, and Company F, 37th Regiment, Army of Tennessee, Franklin Rangers.
